Mona Lisa’s Frown
Written by Jack Sundrud and Craig Bickhardt

If Michelangelo could make a work of art
He’d carve your statue with a small black marble heart
Then you’d know just how it feels inside
When somebody chips away your pride

And if Shakespeare could pick up his mighty pen
To dazzle us with poetry again
He might say your lips are like a rose
He’d be talking ‘bout those thorny lies you told

You could light Davinci’s fire
What a masterpiece you would inspire
Yeah, with a stroke he’d put you down
Forever you’d be hangin’ round
You’d be the Mona Lisa’s frown

Now if Mozart could write you a symphony
You’d hear a hundred violins play out of key
That would be the perfect serenade
To underscore the trust that you betrayed

You could light Davinci’s fire
What a masterpiece you would inspire
Yeah, with a stroke he’d put you down
Forever you’d be hangin’ round
You’d be the Mona Lisa’s frown
